Theology of the Body for Teens by Pavel Reid
We welcome 4 new youth who came to this EDGE session with their mothers. Mr. Reid¡¦s presentation captured the full attention of all who attended. The Theology of the Body is such a ¡¥mind-blowing¡¦ teaching on the beauty of the human bodies ¡V male and female. It goes beyond what we have learned before about sexuality, love and life. The boys and girls sessions went overtime. It was quite OK as it was necessary. Afterwards, we threw a really fun birthday party for Clive, our brave Youth Ministers who took 13 Gr 7 to Spirit Day on the following Saturday.

The Junior Leaders presented him with a ¡¥Spiritual Bouquet¡¦, many rosaries and prayers from all the EDGE youth. Hey, Clive really puts on the ¡¥armour of God¡¦ before he ventured out the next day with 13 youth to Surry for a day of faith rally.
Spirit Day 2006:
The year 2006 is a special year for the Spirit Man ¡V he appeared at 2 Spirit Days this year ¡V Feb and Nov! Well, Grade 6, if you wonder who Spirit Man is, you have to wait till November 2007 to meet him. Boy, our youth were exuberant!! They clapped, sang (very loudly, I say), did hand gestures to the songs, laughed, ate heartily and participated actively in Spirit Day ¡V really full of Spirit. They were so glad to see their teacher Miss Chiu there helping out to make the day a fun day for all participants.

After the EDGE session, EDGE youth will throw a party for Amy and Albert who will be married on December 9 at St. Patrick¡¦s Church at 11:00am. Parents are all invited.
No gym time after the party because the KofC will be decorating the gym for the Gala Dinner on Dec 2. Several of our youth will be helping to serve on that great day when the parish family will all gather together to celebrate the 500 th anniversary of the birth of our patron saint ¡V St. Francis Xavier.
