Legion of Mary (Cantonese)
Purpose
Our Lady of China Praesidium was established
on November 29, 1997 under the spiritual guidance of Rev.
Fr, Louis Tchang. The objective of the Legion of Mary is to
praise the glory of God through the sanctification by prayers
and active cooperation of its members. Our work includes visiting
hospitals, senior homes, elderly and sick parishioners as
well as encouraging the praying of the Family Rosary and participating
in church activities. Our weekly meetings are held at Happy
Manor on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m.

聖母軍中華聖母支團
聖母軍中華聖母支團於一九九七年十一月二十九日在溫哥華聖方濟堂成立。遵照聖母軍的宗旨乃效法聖母的謙遜﹐服從﹐溫順﹐用祈禱和積極的工作﹐在教會領導之下﹐傳揚福音﹐以拓展基督的神國﹐同時也聖化自己。
支團內分活動團員及輔助團員兩種。凡年滿十八歲的男女教友都可以參加為活動團員﹐其責任為每星期出席週會及服務兩小時﹐工作範圍包括探訪醫院､安老院､家訪﹐以愛德的精神去陪伴或協助有需要的人仕﹔為有不便外出的慕道者到其府上講解天主教要理﹐其次擔任兒童道理班導師﹐或協助修女送聖體給教友等等。總之凡是可以傳揚福音的事項﹐並得到主教及本堂神父的認同﹐都可以成為聖母軍活動團員的工作。
輔助團員沒有年齡限制﹐司鐸﹐會士﹐教友都可以參加﹔其責任是以聖母軍的名義祈禱﹐配合活動團員的工作﹐一齊負起榮主救靈的使命。
